Connect veteran experiences to other wars in history The Korean War began when North Korea invaded South Korea in June 1950.Compare and contrast veteran experiences.Reflect on the experiences of veterans and/or the legacy of the Korean War.Research topics related to the Korean War.Students will identify the conflicts between the North and South and explain how these led to the Civil War. Lessons must engage students in the KWLP Interview Archive in some way.
